Great new bits of information has been flowing in regarding the upcoming anticipated Assassin's Creed movie for the past week and now we've got a trailer.

Fassbender as Callum Lynch

For those of you who haven't been caught up the movie is based on the hit videogame franchise from Ubisoft, the Assassin’s Creed movie has Michael Fassbender leading the cast as Callum Lynch who, through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, is able to experience the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar (also played by Fassbender), in 15th Century Spain. Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day.


The cast also includes Marion Cotillard (The Dark Knight Rises, Inception), Michael K. Williams (“The Wire,” Paul Feig’s upcoming Ghostbusters), Jeremy Irons (“The Borgias”) and Brendan Gleeson (Edge of Tomorrow). Justin Kurrzel (Macbeth) is directing the film.

The trailer, which can be viewed below has Fassbender and and fellow assassins doing combative moves and great parkour free running.
